When looking for images to inspire my stretch thinking I came across this particular photo. I really loved how although the photo is ‘set up’ the image questions the attire worn during physical activity. Sportswear is one of the first categories of clothing which comes to mind when talking about stretch in fashion and is recognised to be comfortable and made from stretchable fabrics to allow for maximum movement...but what if the everyday sportswear was not made from stretch fabrics but still made from comfortable fabrics.. would it still be classified as sportswear? Would it suit the proposed purpose?
